On June 5th and 6th, my extended family and I attended Lexmark Family Day at King's Island.  Basically they close the park just for Lexmark and a few other companies.  We all had a great time and it was a lot of fun.  Here are just a few pictures from the two days of chaos!

Well, here we are at the entrance to King's Island...minus uncle Mike.  Like me, Mike understands that if you're a photographer...chances are you won't be in a lot of the pictures.

Here's the gang we walked around the theme park with.

  Zee Eiffel Tower!

Now we Leemhuis' are bunch of safety fanatics. Before we get on ANY ride, we always make sure we're big enough to ride it. Here, my cousin Andrew demonstrates the safety check procedure.  Yep, looks like he checks out.

My cousin Krista, on the other hand, came up a bit short! Better luck next year!

 The Vortex

Looking completely terrified on Top Gun! In this picture I think Andrew is thinking something along the lines of "Jim! Let's buzz the tower!"

 Andrew strapped into Top Gun

Uncle Mike, Aunt Sue, Krista and Andrew on Adventure Express. Guess who sat alone on this ride;-)

Andrew looks WAY too excited to be riding the backwards train on The Racers.

....I stand corrected...:-D

The Son of Beast

...highest wooden roller coaster and has a loop.  Sure rattles you around quite a bit.

 Scooby Doo's haunted castle!

Krista, Andrew, and I doing our best Scooby Doo impression. Wouldn't I make a great Shaggy? Then Laura is there too just laughing at us in this very serious picture!

GREATEST...ON RIDE...PICTURE...EVER! Not sure what Andrew is doing though...

Krista enjoying a strawberry ice cream thing. YUM!

Laura and Krista on Top Gun.

Drop....

 ....ZOOOOOOOOOOONE

Krista next to the dragon she wanted her dad to win her.  I kindly reminded Mike that if my dad were here, he'd probably say something along the lines of "If you were my daughter...I'd win you the dragon."  While Mike agreed with me, he still didn't get it for her.

Krista, Andrew, and I outside the Tomb Raider ride.

 Hanging out eatin' stuff.

My relatives all together before Krista headed back to Cleveland.

I think half of the gang in this picture is pondering something...I'm just not sure what.

Ed and his daughter Laura proudly show off their red cherry Slurpee tongues!

Mike, Sue, Krista, and Andrew up in the Eiffel Tower at night.

OOOOO! Fireworks!

The midway from high above.

More fireworks!

The Eiffel Tower at night. 1/3 scale of the real Eiffel Tower.

How come I can't take night shots this cool?!?!

Action Zone from the Eiffel Tower

So I bet Andrew he couldn't fit his head between the bars on the Eiffel Tower.  He won.......but he had to spend his winnings getting his head unstuck.
